The Jundala Forest Park (rarely also the spelling variant: Jundaia Forest Park ) is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .

topography

The area designated in 1954 with 437 hectares is located in the east of the country, on the border with the neighboring state of Senegal , in the Upper River Region in the Kantora district . The hilly area, which continues in Senegal, forms with the Forest Park at the same time the terrain that includes the highest point in the country. At the coordinate 13 ° 23 '  N , 13 ° 49'  W is the highest point in Gambia at 58 meters above sea level .
