June Bah

Alhaji June Bah also Jun Bah, Njune Bah or Jung Bah is Seyfo (also the English term Chief is common) for the Gambian district of Sandu .

Live and act

Bah was first appointed as Seyfo for the Gambian Sandu District in the Upper River Region in 1997. He was later removed from office in June 2000. In March 2003, he was reappointed Seyfo of Sandu District after Mansa Drammeh was deposed in February.

In February 2008, after the regional elections in Gambia at the end of January, he was accepted as a nominated regional council member in the Basse Area Council . In addition to him, Omar Sompo Ceesay and Aja Kumba Korra were also nominated.

In June 2014, Bah was removed from office again. Basiru Lori Bah became his successor in November 2014. Bah was reinstated in office in June 2019.
