June Wilkinson
June Wilkinson (born March 27, 1940 in Eastbourne , England ) is a British film actress and pin-up girl. At the height of her career in the late 1950s, she was considered "the most photographed nude in America".
biography
At the age of 15 Wilkinson was already on stage as a topless dancer in London's Windmill Theater. On a promotional tour through the USA she was discovered by Hugh Hefner, the publisher of Playboy . In September 1958 she first appeared in Playboy. Further photo series followed by 1962, among others photographed by the director and producer Russ Meyer .
The blonde British woman with the dimensions 111-50-91 became one of the most photographed pin-up models of the era at the end of the 1950s, even before her compatriot Sabrina , also known in the USA . In the following years she also appeared as a stage and film actress, but was never really able to establish herself as an actress, especially since she was almost exclusively cast in roles that emphasized her curvaceous figure rather than her acting skills. Her last guest role to date was in Three Bad Men in 2005 .
She had popular television appearances, among others, in Batman as Evelina and as a guest star in the Doris Day show .
Private life
June Wilkinson was from 1973 to 1982 with the famous quarterback of the Oakland Raiders Dan Pastorini married. She has a daughter.
