The Junfermann Verlag - founded in 1659 by the Paderborn Prince-Bishop Dietrich Adolf von der Recke - is one of the oldest publishers in Germany.

In 1763, the court printer WA Junfermann, who gave the publisher its name, acquired the privilege to print and publish primary school books for the Paderborn Monastery . Over the centuries, publishing was determined by religious and regional publications.

Today, in addition to the works that are important for the region, the Junfermann Verlag mainly publishes titles that are in the development and tradition of psychotherapy , human sciences and brain research . In addition to titles for a highly qualified specialist audience, a special focus is the competent non-fiction program for active lifestyle. Junfermann is the largest provider of specialist literature on NLP and schema therapy in German-speaking countries .

Well-known authors of the publishing house include Richard Bandler , Robert Dilts , John Grinder , Steve Andreas , Milton Erickson , Moshé Feldenkrais , Hilarion Petzold , Marshall Rosenberg , Michaela Huber and Cora Besser-Siegmund .

Since 1992, Junfermann has published the specialist magazine MultiMind - NLP aktuell , which was renamed Communication & Seminar in 2006 and has been published as a practice communication on the topics of NLP , nonviolent communication and coaching since 2015 , with the magazine for transaction analysis as an organ of the German Society for Transaction Analysis eV Specialist magazine on philosophy, anthropology, concepts and areas of application of transactional analysis (TA).
