Jung Kyung-eun ( Korean 정경은 ; born March 20, 1990 in Masan ) is a badminton player from South Korea .

Athletic career

Jung Kyung-eun won silver in women's doubles with Yoo Hyun-young at the 2007 Badminton Junior World Championships , and a year later she won silver with the South Korean team. In the Uber Cup 2010 she was second with the South Korean team at this world championship for women's adult teams. At the Korea Open Super Series 2009 and the Singapore Super Series 2010 she was in the quarterfinals, at the Korea Open Super Series 2010 and the Malaysia Super Series 2010 in the semifinals. At the 2012 Olympic Games , she and her partner Kim Ha-na were disqualified from the Games by the World Federation for match-fixing. In the last group game, the two clearly did not show the will to want to win the game, as they would have met supposedly weaker opponents if they were defeated in the subsequent knockout round.
