Jungfrau relay
The Jungfrau-Stafette is a multi-sport competition that leads across Switzerland .
history
The relay was first carried out in 1931 and discontinued in 1939 due to the outbreak of World War II . A total of five events took place in the pre-war years: 1931, 1933, 1935, 1937, and 1939.
After a 68-year break, the historic relay was resumed on June 2, 2007. Historic motor sports have been combined with modern sports such as paragliding, kayaking and mountain biking downhill. The second new edition took place on Saturday, October 4th, 2008. 600 athletes from 40 teams took part.

The competition consists of 13 stages:
- Stage, Schaffhausen - Lindau (bike route)
- 1st stage, Lindau - Dübendorf (running route)
- 1st stage, Dübendorf - Jungfraujoch (plane)
- Stage, Jungfraujoch - Konkordiaplatz Süd (skiing)
- Stage, Konkordiaplatz South - Märjelensee (glacier run)
- Stage, Märjelensee - Eggishorn (mountain run)
- Stage, Eggishorn - Fiescheralp (paraglider)
- Stage, Fiescheralp - Fiesch Dorf (downhill)
- 2nd stage, Fiesch Dorf - Stalden (motorcycle)
- Stage, Stalden - Visp (kayak)
- Stage, Visp - Sion (automobile)
- Stage, Sion - Dübendorf (airplane)
- Stage, Dübendorf - Dübendorf (running route)
