Jungo Maruta

Jungo Maruta ( Japanese丸 田 順 悟Maruta Jungo ; born January 22, 1963 ) is a Japanese producer of animated films and series.

After graduating from Meiji University in 1984 , he worked for various companies. In 2004 he joined the animation studio Madhouse . In the same year he took over the position of CEO at Madhouse.

From 2005 onwards, Maruta produced some successful animes with Madhouse . In 2005 and 2006, in addition to Mamoru Hosoda's award-winning The Girl Who Leaped Through Time and Satoshi Kon's science fiction film Paprika, the manga-based television series Paradise Kiss and Black Lagoon and the experimental cartoon series Kemonozume were among the works in which he was (partially executive) producer acted.
