Jupp Becker
Jakob Becker (born September 14, 1909 in Rheinhausen , † 1997 in Pinneberg ) was a German gymnastics and sports teacher.
Live and act
Becker was an active gymnast himself and successfully participated in national and international competitions.
In 1946 he worked as a gymnastics and sports teacher at VfL Pinneberg as well as in club and school sports for the city of Pinneberg . With his collaboration, VfL Pinneberg was built into a large club in Schleswig-Holstein . He organized international gymnastics competitions in Pinneberg and Hamburg . Becker worked as a specialist in artistic gymnastics for the German Gymnastics Federation at both state and federal level .
From the marriage with Edith Becker geb. Eichstädt had two sons, Hans-Jürgen and Holger, gymnast and handball player .
