Yuri Vladimirovich Koschelenko

Yuri Wladimirowitsch Koschelenko ( Russian Юрий Владимирович Кошеленко ; born September 23, 1963 in Rostov-on-Don , Soviet Union ) is an extreme mountaineer .

Career

Koschelenko studied agriculture in his native city and was a student of the Indian guru Sri Chinmoy .

In 1982 he joined the section of the Spartak Alpine Club . His first difficult ascent was the Aksu from the east side in 1988. In 1992 he became a member of the Area Mountain Federation Team. He has been a Foreman of Sport since 1994 and International Foreman of Sport since 1997. In 1998 he became the best climber of Russia by score. In 2003 he was for ascent of Nuptse Shar I with the d'Or Piolet Excellent.
