Justin Bergman (born April 20, 1987 ) is an American pool player .

Career

Bergman had his first major successes in 2005 when he finished fourth in a Viking Tour tournament and won the High Pockets Super 9 ball. In 2006 he won the BEF Junior Nationals in the U-19 age group. On the Midwest 9-Ball Tour in 2007 he came second once. In the same year he also won the Annual Turkey Shootout 9-Ball Open. In 2008 Bergman won two tournaments on the Midwest 9-Ball Tour and finished second once. He also won a tournament on the Viking Tour. At the US Bar Table Championship reached 13th place in 8-ball and 9-ball.

In January 2011 Bergman finished second in the Fargo Midwinter Shootout. In March he finished third in a tournament on the Great Southern Billiard Tour. On this tour he won a tournament in 2012 and came in second once. In 2013, Bergman won an amateur tournament on the Simonis Cloth Classic Tour. In June 2013 he won after 17th place at the Ultimate 10-Ball Championship, the One Pocket competition of the Southern Classic in the final against Francisco Bustamante . In September he won another tournament on the Midwest 9-Ball Tour.

In January 2014 Bergman won the River City 9-Ball Open and finished fourth in the One Pocket at the Derby City Classic and at the US Open One Pocket. After finishing second at the Big Tyme Classic in March, he won the Smokin Aces Bar Box Open in the final against Corey Deuel in April . In June 2014, he finished second in the Big Dog One Pocket Championship. At the World 14.1 Tournament 2014 he was eliminated in the round of 16 against Yevgeny Stalew . In August he won the Carom Room Classic. At the US Open 2014 he came in 17th place.

Bergman has been part of the American team at the Mosconi Cup twice ( 2014 and 2015 ), which was defeated by the European team.
