Justin Lazard
Justin Lazard (born November 30, 1967 in New York , NY , USA ) is an American actor , screenwriter , film producer and the son of foreign correspondent Sidney Lazard and photographer Julie Thayer .
Life
Justin spent most of his childhood in New York and Connecticut before the family moved to Paris in 1974, where Sidney Lazard worked as a news correspondent for the US television giant ABC . After his parents divorced, he spent most of his teenage years in boarding schools before settling for acting and studying at New York University.
He made his living initially with commercials, later as a model for Calvin Klein until he was offered a small role in the Brooklyn Kid ( Spike of Bensonhurst ) in 1988 . Many roles in series followed, but they received little attention until he was offered the leading role in Species II in 1998 .
