Justyna Bargielska
Justyna Bargielska (born July 7, 1977 in Warsaw ) is a Polish poet , prose writer and playwright .
Life
Bargielska graduated from high school in Warsaw and began several courses that she did not pursue. In the following years she worked as a saleswoman.
In 1998 she joined the literary group around pl.hum.poezja on Usenet . In 2001 she won the Rainer Maria Rilke Competition for Poetry. In 2002 she made her debut with poems that were published in the two-month publication Studium .
From 2006 to 2009 she worked for a local newspaper in Warsaw. Since 2010 she has been teaching writing workshops at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow .
Her poems, articles and feature sections have been published in the Odra magazine , the Tygodnik Powszechny newspaper and the Znak and Ruch Muzyczny monthly magazines .
She lives in Warsaw.
