Jusuf Hatunić (born October 17, 1950 in Dobošnica , SFR Yugoslavia , † May 11, 1991 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia) was a Yugoslav football player .
Player career
At a young age Hatunić played for the regional football club FK Željezničar, his birthplace Dobošnica, and showed exceptional defensive skills very early on. At the age of 19 he went to the then Yugoslav first division club FK Sloboda Tuzla , with whom he won the Yugoslav Cup two years later. At the age of 26, he moved to FK Partizan Belgrade , where a year later he became Yugoslav champion. After a short stop at the Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul , he returned to FK Partizan Belgrade before ending his career at the then Yugoslav second division club FK Rad . Jusuf Hatunić took part in a total of eight games for Yugoslavia between 1972 and 1978 and acted there as captain of the national team.
Hatunić played mainly in the defensive midfield and was considered a very robust and physically strong player.
