Jutta Novosadtko

Jutta Nowosadtko (born January 1, 1963 in Essen ) is a German historian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1982 , Nowosadtko studied history , social sciences and pedagogy at the University of Essen and passed the first state examination for a higher teaching degree .

She was funded as part of the NRW graduate grant and the Lise Meitner program. In 1993 she became an executioner and knacker with Paul Münch with a dissertation . The everyday life of two "dishonest professions" in the early modern period to become a Dr. phil. PhD . 2003 habilitation they are in modern history to work standing army in the corporate state. The coexistence of the military and civilian population in the Principality of Münster 1650–1803 . In 2006 she completed the preparatory service for grammar school .

She has been Professor of Early Modern History at the Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg since 2007, with a special focus on social and economic history .

From 2000 to 2004 she was an assessor and from 2004 to 2008 treasurer of the Working Group Military and Society in the Early Modern Era .

She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry of Defense for the Center for Military History and Social Sciences of the Bundeswehr .
