Jutta Oltmanns
Jutta Oltmanns (born November 1964 in Warsingsfehn , Lower Saxony ) is a German writer .
life and work
Jutta Oltmanns grew up in East Frisia and spoke East Frisian Platt as a child . In addition to her professional work in administration, she began to write in 1998. The author has now published seven historical novels, plus a large number of short stories, poetry and song texts. When writing in Low German , Oltmanns attaches particular importance to a pure, unadulterated “Platt”. The author is a member of the Schrieverkring Weser-Ems .
As the Tiedenwies group , she and her partner Roland Dubberke provide musical accompaniment for their readings, preferably with songs from the Renaissance and Baroque periods . Jutta Oltmanns lives in Warsingsfehn / Ostfriesland and works full-time at the Federal Agency for Administrative Services in Aurich .
