Jutta Schümann

Jutta Schümann (born March 24, 1949 in Kiel ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

She was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 2000–2009.

Life and work

After completing secondary school , Jutta Schümann trained as a state-recognized educator . A later study of social pedagogy in Darmstadt she finished as diploma - social worker (FH). Jutta Schümann also completed a degree in sociology , economics and social policy at the economics and social science faculty of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg , from which she graduated with a degree in social economics. After managing the newly created equal opportunities office for women in the Kiel city administration from 1987 , she switched to the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the State of Schleswig-Holstein as a policy advisor for senior policy, elderly care, geriatric care training and geriatric psychiatry.

Jutta Schümann joined the SPD in 1972.

From 1986 to 1989 she was a member of the council of Neumünster .

From 2000 to 2009 Jutta Schümann was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . She was also deputy chairwoman of the SPD parliamentary group.

Jutta Schümann entered the state parliament in 2000 as a directly elected member of the Neumünster-Nord constituency and in 2005 as a directly elected member of the Neumünster constituency. In the state elections in 2005, she received 46.5% of the first votes . She did not run again for the 2009 state election.
