Jyoti Amge (born December 16, 1993 in Nagpur , Maharashtra ) is an Indian actress . With a height of 62.8 cm, she is considered the smallest woman in the world.
Life
Amge has achondroplasia , a genetic defect that greatly inhibits growth. She was officially declared the smallest woman by the Guinness Book of Records on her 18th birthday. Before that, she was considered the smallest teenager in the world. In front of her, the then 22-year-old American Bridgette Jordan was registered as the smallest woman in the world since September 2011 with 69 centimeters.
In 2014 she played the role of Mahadevi Patel ("Ma Petite") in the fourth season of the American television series American Horror Story as part of a "Freak Show" and appeared in Entertainment Tonight that same year .
