Kévin Mickael Junior Gomis (born January 20, 1989 in Paris ) is a French - Senegalese football player .

Player career

Kévin Gomis, who came from the youth of EA Guingamp , moved to the Portuguese first division club Naval 1º de Maio in the summer of 2009 , after he had only been used in the reserve team for his previous club. In the Primeira Liga 2009/10 Gomis was used in 23 league games and ended the season with his new team in eighth place in the table. In the following season , the team's performance deteriorated significantly and led to relegation to the second division as bottom of the table.

After relegation, Gomis returned to France and signed a contract with OGC Nice on July 1, 2011 . For his new club, he played 15 league games in Ligue 1 in 2011/12 . In 2012/13 , the defender and his team achieved an excellent position with fourth place in the table, but again remained only a supplementary player with 13 appearances.

On January 30, 2014 Kévin Gomis moved on loan to the English second division club Nottingham Forest .

In August 2016, Gomis moved to the Scottish first division club FC Dundee , and signed a one-year contract.
