The KBJP Königlich-Bayerische-Josefspartei is a Bavarian traditional association which, according to its own statements, has over 6,500 members worldwide and describes itself as a party , which, however, does not comply with party law . Above all, he advocates the reintroduction of St. Joseph's Day on March 19 as a public holiday, which was abolished in Bavaria in 1968. The members meet annually for a party conference , which usually takes place in summer tents . It is not known that the party has participated in elections . A statute , as required by the German political party law, is in place, but a program as required is also not known. The KBJP is not a party in the legal sense according to § 2 Political Parties Act, but an association according to §§ 21 ff. BGB . The name is protected in the trademark register by a natural person from Aichach .

The association has existed since 1985 and emerged from the Damische Knights (DaRi) in the Tower of the Golden Peace in Aichach , who took care of the restoration of the Knollerturm, a round tower of the Aichach city wall, in the 1950s and 1960s.
