The Königstalalm is an alpine pasture in the Königssee forest district in the municipality of Schönau am Königssee .

Two barns of the Königstalalm are under monument protection and are registered under the number D-1-72-132-99 in the Bavarian monument list.

Building description

The Stockerkaser is a single-storey, combed block building with a flat gable roof , the living area is clad with wooden shingles. The building is said to date from 1511, but its core was probably built in the early 19th century.

The Stangerkaser is a single-storey, combed block building with a flat gable roof, field stone base and a wooden shingled gable. The Stangerkaser was built in the first half of the 19th century.

Todays use

The Königstalalm is used for agriculture and is simply served between the beginning of July and the beginning of September.

The Königstalalm is located southeast of the Jenner between the Bärenwand and Teufelsgemäuer at an altitude of 1530  m above sea level. NN .
