The historic building ensemble at Königswinterer Straße 803 in Oberkassel , a part of the Beuel district of Bonn , consists of the former waterworks and the former prison of the community behind it. The buildings on the corner of Königswinterer Strasse and Röckesbergstrasse are now used for residential purposes and are listed. Both buildings are connected by an inner courtyard.

The former waterworks on Königswinterer Strasse is now a two-story single-family house with ground floor extensions, which include the former pump house , which still has a well today. The property is unplastered and has 5 window axes. The parts of the building were built between 1894 and 1912.

The former prison (also: arrest house ) is located behind the waterworks on Röckesbergstrasse . It is a half-timbered brick building and was built around 1900. The prison operated until the 1950s. The fire brigade also used the building - to store the sprayer ; The large gate required for this in the building was replaced by a window as part of the 2015 renovation.
