In the upper reaches it flows relatively straight to the south-south-east, before turning about 300 meters south-south-east of the Kühberger inn on a south-west course and after another 300 meters on a west course. Overall, the Kühbergerbach flows to the southwest. On its course, the Kühbergerbach takes on an unnamed watercourse from the left.
