The building at Kühleweinstraße 4 is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on its own and characterizes the street scene on the north side of Kühleweinstraße in Magdeburg's Alte Neustadt district .

Architecture and history

The three-storey plastered building was built in 1902/1903 by the architect Walter Bahn , who was also the owner of the house. A representative eight-axis building was created, in front of whose left side there is a two-axis oriel . The year 1903 , which refers to the construction time, is on the bay window . A curved balustrade is located in front of the roof and delimits a roof terrace that is now set up there . The building rests on a high basement . The facade of the basement and the ground floor are rusted . The remaining part is provided with plaster grooves. On the upper floors there is a broad structure of pilaster strips . There is also a decoration with stucco in forms of Art Nouveau . Floral motifs and female masks can be seen.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 70459 .
