Reiko Rölz

Reiko Rölz (born August 24, 1987 in Räckelwitz ) is a German theater actor and combat choreographer . He became known through his participation in the Vineta Festival on Usedom . Since 2007 he has played and / or choreographed for the Vorpommersche Landesbühne.

Life

Rölz played his first role at the age of 14 under the direction of Herbert Graedtke on the natural stage in Reichenau , where it held him until he was 18. From there he went to the Western Pomerania Theater Academy to complete a four-year training course as a state-recognized actor. During his training, he paid particular attention to further development in the field of stage fighting and fencing and was assistant to the stage combat instructor Tibor Oltyan for two years. During the four years he performed in several roles.

After graduating, he worked as a freelance media consultant for the Ostsee-Zeitung for three years and moved to Berlin for almost two years to work as a model and freelance actor. During this time he began choreographing the stage fights for the Vineta Festival . In 2015 he moved back to Usedom and became an integral part of the ensemble of the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne , of which he is still a member.

He gained first attention in the role of Pluto in the play Der Geldgott by Peter Hacks , directed by Jürgen Kern, and as Pedro Jaquéras in the play Die Gewehre der Frau Carrar by Bertolt Brecht under the direction of Wolfgang Bordel .

In 2018 he was a boxer in the play Animal Farm directed by Oliver Trautwein and as a Jachmann in Little Man - what now? , Directed by Jürgen Kern , on stage. Furthermore, since September 16, 2019, he has been performing Major Crampas in Effi Briest under the direction of Marco Bahr, actor and director of the Störtebeker Festival . From 2007 to 2018 he was the main actor in the Vineta Festival and has played the leading role in the summer production at the Barther Boddenbühne since summer 2019.

Rölz was on stage in pieces from the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne in Zinnowitz , Anklam , Barth , in Neubrandenburg and Neustrelitz or the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin .
