Küstenerdfunkstelle ( English - coast earth station ) is - in accordance with Article 1.76 of the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as earth station of the fixed-satellite service or in certain cases of maritime mobile satellite , which in itself a certain fixed point on land and serves to provide a feed connection for the mobile marine radio service via satellite.
