Kōhei Higa ( Japanese 比 嘉 厚 平 Higa Kōhei ; born April 30, 1990 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Higa learned to play football in the youth team of Kashiwa Reysol . He signed his first contract with Kashiwa Reysol in 2009. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2009 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2011 he moved to third division club Blaublitz Akita . In 2012 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . In 2014 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2014 season, the club rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 44 league games. At the end of 2016, he ended his career as a football player.
