Kōhei Shimizu ( Japanese 清水 航 平 , Shimizu Kōhei ; born April 30, 1989 in Munakata , Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kōhei Shimizu learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daigo High School . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2008 . The club from Hiroshima , a port city in the southwest of the Japanese main island Honshū , played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of 2008 he was second division champion with the club and rose to the first division. In 2012, 2013 and 2015 he was Japanese football champion with Sanfrecce. In 2013 he was in the final of the Imperial Cup with Sanfrecce , but the mam lost 2-0 to Yokohama F. Marinos . He was in the final of the J. League Cup in 2014. Here they lost 3-2 against Gamba Osaka . From August 2017 to July 2018 he was loaned to league rival Shimizu S-Pulse . After the loan ended, he was firmly signed by Shimizu. A few days after signing the contract, he was loaned to the second division Ventforet Kofu to Kofu . For Kofu, he completed nine second division games. The 2019 season took place a loan to his former club Sanfrecce Hiroshima. After the loan ended, he was again firmly committed by Sanfrecce in 2020.
