Kōji Matsushita

Kōji Matsushita ( Japanese 松下 浩 二 , Matsushita Kōji ; born August 28, 1967 in Toyohashi , Aichi Prefecture ) is a Japanese table tennis professional .

Live and act

At the end of the 1980s Matsushita played for the Swedish club Falkenbergs BTK , in 1997 he joined SV Plüderhausen and a year later moved to Borussia Düsseldorf .

In the world rankings, he was last at position 58 in March. He is right-handed and plays the shake hand grip. Matsushita has been an active professional for over 20 years and is best known for his spectacular defensive game .

In early 2009, Matsushita ended his active career as a competitive athlete. He then set up a world record with the longest rally together with Hiroshi Kamura . The rally lasted 8 hours, 34 minutes and 29 seconds.
