Kōji Yoshimura ( Japanese 吉 村 光 示 , Yoshimura Kōji ; born April 13, 1976 in Kochi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yoshimura learned to play soccer on the school team at Minamiuwa High School . He signed his first contract in 199 with Sanfrecce Hiroshima . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1997 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe . For the club he completed 181 first division games. In 2004 he moved to league competitor Ōita Trinita . For the club he completed 32 first division games. In 2006 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he completed 16 first division games. In 2007 he moved to league rivals Yokohama F. Marinos . In 2008 he moved to the second division club FC Gifu . For the club he completed 19 games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
