Kōta Hattori ( Japanese 服 部 公 太 , Hattori Kōta ; born November 22, 1977 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hattori learned to play soccer on the school team at Shibuya Makuhari High School . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1996 and 1999 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2003 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. In 2007 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup. At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. In 2008 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. In 2010 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . For the club he completed 450 games. In 2012 he moved to the second division club Fagiano Okayama . For the club he completed 14 games. At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
