Kōta Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 皓 太 , Watanabe Kōta ; born October 18, 1998 in Kawasaki , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Kōta Watanabe learned to play football in the youth team of Tokyo Verdy . The club from Tokyo played in the second Japanese division, the J2 League . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2017. By August 2019, he had played 93 second division games for Verdy and scored four goals. In August 2019 he moved to the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos in Yokohama . At the end of the 2019 season, he celebrated the Japanese football championship with the club.
