Takuya Wada ( Japanese 和田 拓 也 ; born July 28, 1990 in Kanagawa ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Takuya Wada learned to play football in the school team of Fujisawa Meiji Soccer Sports Shonendan and in the youth team of Tokyo Verdy in Tokyo . With the club playing in the J2 League , he also signed his first professional contract in 2009. By 2012 he had completed 74 second division games. In 2013 he moved to Vegalta Sendai . The Sendai club played in the first division, the J1 League . In August of the same year he signed a contract with league rivals Ōmiya Ardija in Saitama . In 2014 he had to start the path to the second class with the club. A year later, the direct return to the first division took place. After 109 games for Ōmiya, he moved in 2018 to Sanfrecce Hiroshima, who also played in the first division, in Hiroshima . In 2018 he was runner-up with Hiroshima. The 2019 season he was loaned to the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos . With the club from Yokohama he became Japanese football champion in 2019. After the end of his contract in Hiroshima, he was signed by the Marinos in 2020.
