The 2020 season of the K5 League will be the second season of the highest amateur league in South Korean football. The 2020 season will be played with 12 relays of 6 teams each. The best teams of all seasons play the league championship in the King's Cup. Due to the league reform for the K3 & K4 League, no promoted team will be played. Compared to the previous season, Gwangju & Jeollanam-do will host the championship in their own season. The merged season from the previous season will no longer exist this season. Last year's champion of the K5 League is Cheongju SMC Engineering FC .

King's Cup
At the King Cup 2020 (also K5 League Championship called) the masters participate all seasons. Cheongju SMC Engineering FC won the previous year's K5 League championship.
mode
First all 12 teams play in the group stage. The groups are three teams each. The winners of the respective groups qualify for the knockout phase and compete against each other in the semifinals and play off the teams to reach the final. The winner of the final game is K5 League 2020 champion.
