The KATV tower was an American US in 1967 for the television company KATV near Redfield in Arkansas erected at 34 ° 28'24 "north latitude and 92 ° 12'11" west longitude 609.6 meter high transmission tower to spread of television programs . The KATV transmission mast, which was one of the tallest structures in the world, collapsed on January 11, 2008 when the guy ropes were replaced. One worker was slightly injured.
