KC Ball (born June 26, 1975 in Mission , British Columbia ) is a New Zealand - Canadian ice hockey player who has played for Botany Swarm in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League since 2005 .

Career

KC Ball grew up in British Columbia on Canada's west coast and played in lower-class Canadian youth teams as a teenager. After graduating, he left Canada and moved to London , among other places , where he met his wife, with whom he moved to her New Zealand homeland in 2004.

When the New Zealand Ice Hockey League was founded in 2005 , he joined the South Auckland Swarm . He has played continuously for the club, which has been called Botany Swarm since 2007 . In 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 he was New Zealand Champion with the club. After Andrew Hay , he is only the second player in the swarm to exceed 150 league games. From 2009 to 2012, in addition to his playing career, he was also the assistant coach of his team.

International

For New Zealand Ball took part in the World Championships in 2008 in Division II and in 2009 in Division III. He then ended his international career for family reasons.
