The New York steam locomotive was a passenger locomotive of the KFNB (Kaiser-Ferdinands-Nordbahn). It was delivered to the KFNB by William Norris in 1841 with the axle formula 2A.
The cylinders were later modified by the KFNB workshop (see table); originally they had a diameter of 317 mm and a stroke of 464 mm.
One was not satisfied with its performance, as it evidently provided too little steam. Nevertheless, on March 27, 1841, she hauled the first train on the new Lundenburg - Hungarian Hradisch route .
The New York was retired in 1861.
