The steam locomotive "VINDOBONA" was the first passenger locomotive of the KFNB . It was supplied by the Stephenson locomotive factory in 1838 and had the axle formula  1A1. The cylinders were arranged under the smoke chamber and drove the cranked second axle.

Apparently there were problems with the wheelsets supplied, so that a conversion was necessary. Another boiler was also installed.

The machine was shut down in 1851 and retired in 1856.
