KHC Leuven
The Koninklijke Hockey Club Leuven is a Belgian hockey club from Leuven founded in 1929 . The club, playing in white-blue-red, is a member of the men's Eredivisie , the first Belgian hockey league. The team surprisingly reached the semi-finals in the Euro Hockey League 2008/2009, where KHC Leuven was defeated by Uhlenhorster HC . For women, the club plays in the second Belgian division. In 2008, the KHC became Belgian champions for the first time.
