KIC 11145123 (also Kepler 11145123) is a 4,000 light-years distant blue giant with a diameter of 1.5 million kilometers. He belongs to the variable stars .

Roundest stellar object

With a diameter of 1.5 million kilometers, the equatorial deviation is only 3 kilometers. This makes it the roundest star ever discovered . This can be explained by a slow rotation of 99 days on the surface and 105 days on the core and by a relatively weak magnetic field . An orbiting exoplanet could also benefit this.
