The KXTV / KOVR transmission mast is a guyed transmission mast that was erected in 2000 about a kilometer southeast of Walnut Grove near Sacramento , California . It is a 624.5 meter high grounded transmission mast for broadcasting VHF and TV programs and is currently the fifth tallest structure in the world. This mast is owned by Gannett / Sinclair.
