Well-known high buildings in comparison

The following list of tallest structures is ordered by absolute height, i.e. H. Antennas that are not included in a ranking of the tallest buildings are also rated because they are not part of the building architecture. So z. B. TV towers are not viewed as a building, but merely as a structure. The tallest structures are represented in the World Federation of Great Towers (WFGT). Once a year there is a meeting of the representatives of this organization.

Transmitter masts guyed with ropes , which can reach heights of up to 629 meters, and oil platforms are not taken into account in this table, but not yet completed or opened structures whose final height has already been reached.

The list includes all structures from a height of 350 meters (as of April 2021).

Tallest structures under construction (selection)

With a planned final height of more than 1000 meters, the Jeddah Tower, which is currently under construction, is set to become the tallest structure in the world in the early 2020s.
