The Central TV Tower Beijing is a 405 meter high TV tower in Beijing and belongs to the Chinese media group CCTV .
The tower, which was completed in 1992, reaches a total height of 405 meters (386.5 m without antenna ), offers a viewing platform and a revolving restaurant , which can be reached via elevators . It is one of the tallest television towers in the world .
The tower was built by an architectural firm of the Ministry of Radio, Film & Television of the People's Republic of China . Special features are the gold-colored and blue-colored and high-gloss spherical tower sections, which are available at the foot of the tower, as well as in the area of the restaurant and the viewing platform at 221 and 238 meters high.
