The Zhengzhou TV Tower (also: Henan Province Radio & Television Tower ) is a TV tower in Zhengzhou, China . The foundation stone of the tower was laid on December 27, 2006; Completion took place in 2010. It was opened to the public in February 2011. Since it opened, it has been the tenth tallest television tower in the world , the fifth tallest in China and the tallest all-steel tower in the world.

An architectural feature is the waisted shape of the tower shaft . The shaft is formed by a central core around which tubular structural elements are entwined. The construction of the television tower was part of a large-scale urban construction project with the participation of the Japanese architect Kishō Kurokawa . The tower cage has an amorphous shape, which consists of several composite cones that diverge towards the top and form the glazed platforms. The glass surfaces are repeatedly interrupted by golden parts of the facade. The largest panoramic painting in the world recognized by the Guinness Book of Records is located on the third and fourth floors of the tower cage with a height of 18 meters, a length of 164 meters and a surface area of 3,012 square meters . The top is a steel lattice mast used as an antenna, which rises directly from the roof of the tower cage.
The tower occupies an area of 141 hectares and has an area of 58,000 square meters. It is designed to broadcast up to 36 radio and television programs within a radius of 120 kilometers.
