At 388 meters, the Shum Yip Upperhills Tower 1 ( Chinese 深 业 上 ) is the tallest skyscraper of the Shum Yip Upperhills complex, which is under construction in Shenzhen , China , consisting of 6 high-rise buildings. The building has 80 floors that will be used as offices. The complex was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in 2011 . Construction began in 2014. Tower 2, which is slightly lower at 300 meters, was completed in 2017. The completion of Tower 1 will follow in 2019. 4 more not so high towers are to be added. Shum Yip Upperhills Tower 1 is the fourth tallest building in Shenzhen and the thirteenth tallest in China .
