23 Marina is the name of a skyscraper in the desert metropolis of Dubai , United Arab Emirates .

The building, developed by Emaar Properties , was completed in early 2012 and has 90  floors and 57 swimming pools. The 393 meter high, slim residential tower ends with a pointed roof construction. The last 24 floors house 45 duplex apartments . In February 2010, the work was interrupted for a few weeks, the building reached its final height in June 2011, making it the second tallest building in the city after the Burj Khalifa until the topping-out ceremony for the Princess Tower in January 2012 . After its complete completion in January 2012, it was considered the tallest opened purely residential building. The building then had to give up this rank in summer 2012 with the opening of the Princess Tower.
