Elite Residence by "The Palm, Jumeirah"

Elite Residence is a skyscraper in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates . The building, located in the Dubai Marina District, is 380 meters high and has 91 floors, which, apart from technical facilities, only house apartments. In terms of structural height, it is only one meter shorter than New York's Empire State Building (381 meters, but 443 meters with antenna) and is one of the tallest buildings in the Middle East as well as the tallest residential buildings in the world. The building is owned and built by Emaar Properties and Tameer . A total of 697 different residential units are housed in the high-rise. The highest floor is at a height of 314 meters. Twelve elevators operate inside the building . Below the lobby there are four basement floors that are primarily used for building technology in general.

The building has a square floor plan at the bottom and rises in a slender shape. Below the crown, the floor space of the high-rise shrinks again before the pointed crown decoratively closes the building. At its highest point, the top consists only of a metal mast. The facade was clad in a beige tone with aluminum and stone, with the windows in between. The structure of the storeys and the foundation are made of reinforced concrete , while elements of steel were also made at the top of the building .

Construction began in 2006, in August 2012 all construction work was completed and the tower opened. The final height was reached by assembling the crown on August 15, 2011.
