Kaare Dybvad

Kaare Dybvad (born August 5, 1984 in Holbæk ) is a Danish politician of the Social Democrats . He has been the housing minister in his country since June 2019.

education

Dybvad holds the Danish equivalent of a Masters degree in Geography and Geoinformatics . He studied the subject from 2009 to 2012 at the University of Copenhagen .

Political career

Between 2006 and 2008 he worked as a student assistant for the social democratic politician Magnus Heunicke . During this time he was also chairman of the youth organization Danmarks Socialdemokratiske Ungdom in the Sjælland region . From 2003 to 2004 he was its chairman in Westsjælland.

Dybvad moved into the Danish parliament, the Folketing , for the first time in the 2015 election . He has represented Sjælland there since then. On June 27, 2019, he was appointed Minister of Housing in the Frederiksen government.
