Cabinet Bijedić II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bijedić II cabinet was formed on May 17, 1974 in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) by Džemal Bijedić . The Bijedić cabinet replaced the first Bijedić cabinet and remained in office until March 15, 1977, after which it was replaced by the first Đuranović cabinet . The ministers were members of the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia (BdKJ). After Prime Minister Džemal Bijedić died in a plane crash over Sarajevo on January 18, 1977 , the previous Secretary of the Central Committee of the BdKJ Veselin Đuranović took over the post of Prime Minister on February 14, 1977 and formed his first government on March 15, 1977.
