The Cabinet Otmar Hasler I was on 5 April 2001 to 21 April 2005, the 20th official end of government of the Principality of Liechtenstein , chaired by Otmar Hasler in his first term as prime minister .

After the state elections on February 11, 2001 , the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP) formed a sole government that occupied 13 of the 25 seats in the Liechtenstein state parliament .

For governments formed after March 18, 1965, according to Article 79 of the Constitution of the Principality of Liechtenstein , they are always five-member collegial governments, consisting of a head of government as primus inter pares and four councilors, one of which is appointed as a deputy head of government. At least two members of the government must come from each of the two regions of the Oberland and Unterland . They are appointed and dismissed by the sovereign , the regular term of office is four years.

The Otmar Hasler I cabinet was dismissed by Hereditary Prince Alois , who has been Prince Regent for Prince Hans-Adam II since August 16, 2004 .
