The Cabinet Klaus Tschütscher was on 25 March 2009 to 27 March 2013, the 22 official border Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein , chaired by Klaus Tschütscher in his single term as prime minister .
After the state elections on February 8, 2009 , the Fatherland Union (VU) and the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP) formed a coalition government that together took 24 of the 25 seats in the Liechtenstein state parliament .
For governments formed after March 18, 1965, according to Article 79 of the Constitution of the Principality of Liechtenstein , they are always five-member collegial governments, consisting of a head of government as primus inter pares and four government councilors, one of which is appointed as a deputy head of government. At least two members of the government must come from each of the two regions of the Oberland and Unterland . They are appointed and dismissed by the sovereign , the regular term of office is four years.
The appointment and dismissal of the Klaus Tschütscher cabinet was made by Hereditary Prince Alois , who has been Prince Regent for Prince Hans-Adam II since August 16, 2004 .
